Larry was an artists' artist, a painters' painter. For 50 plus years he not only painted "full time", he painted seven days a week. It wasn't what he did, it was what he was - to the very fiber of his being. Afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease since 2010, Larry continued to paint daily until he could no longer remember how to put the paint on the canvas. His work up until the very end of his painting career continued to be enchanting; and as Larry's disease progressed, the colors absolutely exploded from his mind and his brush. This website showcases the remarkable Charles Laurens Heald.
